This nation is only a reflection of the compromising church.

And there is something about the politicians and the media being used to plant discord. Do you feel it? I don’t know about you, but when I put the news on, it makes me want to take sides and fight, and call people ignorant for the side they are on.

This is NOT Jesus. I believe it is a powerful divisive spirit. This spirit is so similar to a legalistic attitude, or a religious spirit, it works in the very same way. It gives you a comfortable feeling of doing the right thing, but in fact it is only compromising in voting for “the lesser of two evils” which is still evil.

The mormon candidate believes he will one day be equal to our God, as he morphs into a god over his own world for people to pray to. And his abortion stance is shaky at the least.

And the president as a candidate which wants to twist the whole council of the bible’s meaning for his own rebellious agenda in gay marriage. Also his belief, (as was George Bush’s)that all religions lead to the same place. And he is pro-abortion.

How can we possibly say we are going to vote for the lesser of two evils, and feel justified in doing so? They both are a “In Your Face Declaration of Rebellion to God!” Both of them!!!

Now can we see even the questionable ministers and representatives of “the church,” say, well Mr. Romney is not running for pastor in Chief, he is running for president. Or even “reverend” Jessie Jackson’s daughter saying the same thing, “I can support president Obama, because of separation of church and state with his gay marriage policy and because he is not running for Pastor in Chief.”

So just as false pastors, teachers, prophet’s in general, have always twisted God’s word, His scriptures, taking them out of context, or quoting only half of the verse, or twisting a meaning entirely, for their agenda, now, it is blatantly happening in our government, and supported by questionable ministers and churches.

Is God revealing something to us in these two compromised candidates? Yes, He is calling us to repentance, drawing us to Himself, for those who have ears to hear, to depend on Him, and not these mortal substitutes, these substitute saviors of our nation. He is pressing us between the Rock and a hard place, to truly humble ourselves like never before, not playing the comfortable games we have in the past, because it is spiritual sackcloth and ashes time.

This is where I say, we are not called to be politically correct, we are called to be biblically correct. As in John 14:

23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.

Don’t get this confused with works earned salvation, we could never earn God’s grace through Jesus’s precious gift of atonement on the cross, obeying Jesus’s words, in the scripture is the fruit that manifests when you are truly in Jesus and He in you and His word in us, John 15. Not just in us, but living in us. His word becomes seared into our hearts, and because of our love for Him, our abiding in Him, and He in us, and His word abiding in us, we find we live the word, not just know the word. That is why Jesus said, those that love me keep my word.

Again the compromised church has sown seeds of compromise to reap compromised leaders. But this has been going on for a while. Seeing how much more these candidates are compromised should reveal how bad the condition of the church truly is.

Leviticus 26

14 ‘But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments,

15 and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant,

16 I also will do this to you:

I will even appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart.

And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

17 I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies.

Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you.

18 ‘And after all this, if you do not obey Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

19 I will break the pride of your power;

I will make your heavens like iron and your earth like bronze.

20 And your strength shall be spent in vain;

for your land shall not yield its produce, nor shall the trees of the land yield their fruit.

Why do I say that these candidates are the seeds we the compromised church have sown?

2 Chronicles 7:14

13 When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people,if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and””””” turn from their wicked ways,””””” then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Remember that God is the one who raises up leaders, and this should be a wakeup call, that both candidates are representing us, they are a reflection of the condition of the compromise in God’s people.

Daniel 2
20 Daniel answered and said:

“Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,
For wisdom and might are His.
21 And He changes the times and the seasons;
He gives wisdom to the wise
And knowledge to those who have understanding.

22 He reveals deep and secret things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And light dwells with Him.

Truthfully if we had put all the energy in pursuing Jesus as we have studying the candidates, even as some of the church participating in campaigning, making phone calls, sending out flyers, and donating money into studying the bible, pressing into Jesus by praying in the Holy Spirit, being as zealous and bold for His Name and His word and desiring only to continue to mature and grow in intimacy in our relationship, and conforming to His will through the power of the Holy Spirit empowering us to do so, then we would have as those in the bible, those who everyone would know were with Jesus, because they would be shaking up the world to the glory of God.

In saying all of that, think about this, where is the example in the bible of Jesus, or any of His disciples gathering up disciples to campaign for government officials? We don’t have that. All we have is Peter and Paul both saying to pray for them, to submit to governing authorities, obey the laws of the land. And even in that, we have to take the bible rightly divided, and notice that when Jesus was warned that he should leave because Herod would arrest him, Jesus called Herod a fox(as a descriptive adjective). (Luke 13:31-33)

And we have to balance submitting to the law of the land, or political authorities with the example that Peter and John gave to us in Acts 4:13-22, after they were commanded not to preach Jesus, Peter and John came back telling the officials whether it is right before God they should listen to God or them, because they could not help but tell what they have seen and heard.

The devil is using certain biblical truths in a perverted way through both candidates. Please it is time for sackcloth and ashes, calling a sacred assembly, a fast. We have to get desperate to turn back to Jesus with our whole heart, OR we will be susceptible to deception and even apostasy. We have to stop compromising even on this election. Keeping our focus on Jesus, and seeking Him, then everything else that will glorify the Lord will come in line. Then perhaps, we will more than ever as the true body of Christ come into unity in Jesus.

Remember OUR KINGDOM through the blood of Jesus is not of this world. Just like the parable of the seed and the sower,

Matthew 13:22
Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the “”””cares of this world”””” and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

2 Timothy 2:3-5

3 You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4″””” No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life,””” that he may please Him who enlisted him as a soldier.

Joel 2

12 “Now, therefore,” says the Lord,
“Turn to Me with all your heart,
With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”
13 So rend your heart, and not your garments;
Return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm.
14 Who knows if He will turn and relent,
And leave a blessing behind Him—
A grain offering and a drink offering
For the Lord your God?
15 Blow the trumpet in Zion,
Consecrate a fast,
Call a sacred assembly;
16 Gather the people,
Sanctify the congregation,
Assemble the elders,
Gather the children and nursing babes;
Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber,
And the bride from her dressing room.
17 Let the priests, who minister to the Lord,
Weep between the porch and the altar;
Let them say, “Spare Your people, O Lord,
And do not give Your heritage to reproach,
That the nations should rule over them.
Why should they say among the peoples,
‘Where is their God?’”
