I am concerned for those who believe they are saved and are not. They have not even been presented with a pure gospel, that preaches the shedding of Jesus’s blood on the cross for our sins. They are not taught that unless we deny ourselves and take up our crosses and walk in the self sacrificial way that Jesus walked then we are not worthy of Him. We do have to balance this with the day work parable, but in that parable, that parable is talking about the time we have, and what we do with it, birthed out of devotion, and true loving and esteeming our intimate, and personal relationship with God, through Jesus Christ.

AMP Matthew 10:37 He who loves [and takes more pleasure in] father or mother more than [in] Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves [and takes more pleasure in] son or daughter more than [in] Me is not worthy of Me;

38 And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, CONFORMING WHOLLY TO MY EXAMPLE IN LIVING AND, IF NEED BE, IN DYING ALSO] IS NOT WORTHY OF ME.

We also have to balance and rightly divide the word of truth in scripture with John 15.
If you abide in Me, and I abide in you, and My word abides in you, then you will bear much fruit that proves you are My disciples and honors the Father.
Of course the fruit that we can bear that honors the Father is seeing the characteristics of Christ in us. The fruit of the Spirit is the characteristics of Christ. These are manifested when we truly are walking, and growing continually closer and more intimate in our relationship with Christ.

John 15 AMP
4 Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, NEITHER CAN YOU BEAR FRUIT UNLESS YOU ABIDE IN ME.

5 I am the Vine; you are the branches. WHOEVER LIVES IN ME AND I IN HIM BEARS MUCH (abundant) FRUIT. However, APART FROM ME [cut off from vital union with Me] YOU CAN DO NOTHING.

6 If a person DOES NOT DWELL IN ME, HE IS THROWN OUT LIKE A [broken-off] branch, and withers; SUCH BRANCHES ARE GATHERED UP AND THROWN INTO THE FIRE, AND THEY ARE BURNED.

7 IF YOU LIVE IN ME [abide vitally united to Me] AND MY WORDS REMAIN IN YOU AND CONTINUE TO LIVE IN YOUR HEARTS, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.

8 WHEN YOU BEAR (produce) MUCH FRUIT, My FATHER IS HONORED AND GLORIFIED, and YOU SHOW AND PROVE YOURSELVES TO BE TRUE FOLLOWERS OF MINE.

Now let us rightly divide the word of truth in scriptures even more.

Matthew 25
The Parable of the Talents

14 “For THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS( the kingdom of heaven is within us, and Christ was describing what it is to be a good steward of the free gift of salvation, maturing, and bearing fruit or in this case talents as we continue to be pruned, have our minds renewed, while in the pursuit continuously of more intimate relationship with Him) like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 And to one HE GAVE FIVE TALENTS,TO ANOTHER TWO, and TO ANOTHER ONE, TO EACH ACCORDING TO HIS OWN ABILITY; and immediately he went on a journey. 16 THEN HE WHO HAD RECEIVED THE FIVE TALENTS WENT AND TRADED WITH THEM, AND MADE ANOTHER FIVE TALENTS. 17 And likewise HE WHO HAD RECEIVED TWO GAINED TWO MORE ALSO. 18 But HE WHO HAD RECEIVED ONE WENT AND DUG IN THE GROUND, AND HID HIS LORD’S MONEY. 19 After a long time the lord of those servants came and SETTLED ACCOUNTS WITH THEM.
20 “So HE WHO HAD RECEIVED FIVE TALENTS CAME AND BROUGHT FIVE OTHER TALENTS, SAYING, “LORD, YOU DELIVERED TO ME FIVE TALENTS;LOOK, I HAVE GAINED FIVE MORE TALENTS BESIDES THEM. 21 HIS LORD SAID TO HIM, ” WELL DONE, GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT; YOU WERE FAITHFUL OVER A FEW THINGS, I WILL MAKE YOU RULER OVER MANY THINGS. ENTER INTO THE JOY OF YOUR LORD.”

Where else do we want to hear the words, “Well done good and faithful servant, enter in to the joy of your Lord?”
The next couple of verses talk about the servant that doubled the 2 original talents that His Lord had given him, and was also invited to enter into the joy of his Lord. Now let us read what happens to the servant that was given one talent.
24 “THEN HE WHO HAD RECEIVED THE ONE TALENT CAME AND SAID,”LORD, I KNEW YOU TO BE A HARD MAN, REAPING WHERE YOU HAVE NOT SOWN, AND GATHERING WHERE YOU HAVE NOT SCATTERED SEED. 25 AND I WAS AFRAID, AND WENT AND HID YOUR TALENT IN THE GROUND. LOOK, THERE YOU HAVE WHAT IS YOURS.”
Now watch the Lord’s response.
26 “BUT HIS LORD ANSWERED AND SAID TO HIM, “YOU WICKED AND LAZY SERVANT, YOU KNEW THAT I REAP WHERE I HAVE NOT SOWN, AND GATHER WHERE I HAVE NOT SCATTERED SEED. 27 SO YOU OUGHT TO HAVE DEPOSITED MY MONEY WITH THE BANKERS, AND AT MY COMING I WOULD HAVE RECEIVED BACK MY OWN WITH INTEREST. 28 So TAKE THE TALENT FROM HIM, AND GIVE IT TO HIM WHO HAS TEN TALENTS.
Now this is important, because at the beginning of this chapter, Jesus said that the Lord had given to the servants each according to his ABILITY. IT WAS NOT BEYOND HIS ABILITY TO BE A GOOD STEWARD OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD THAT THEY WERE GIVEN UNDERSTANDING, IT WAS NOT BEYOND THEIR ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND THE TRUTH AND NOT COMPROMISE IT. IT WAS NOT BEYOND THEIR ABILITY TO GROW FRUIT FROM BEING A GOOD STEWARD OF THE BLOOD ATONEMENT THAT GIVES US ACCESS TO INTIMACY WITH GOD.
29 ‘FOR TO EVERYONE WHO HAS, MORE WILL BE GIVEN, and HE WILL HAVE ABUNDANCE; but FROM HIM WHO DOES NOT HAVE, EVEN WHAT HE HAS WILL BE TAKEN AWAY. 30 And CAST THE UNPROFITABLE SERVANT,( OR UNFRUITFUL SERVANT) into the outer darkness. THERE WILL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.’
Salvation given freely to us, was never meant for us to just sit on. To just go and sit in the pew of church. We have a responsibility. That is why Paul said to imitate me as I follow Christ. He was inviting the people to watch his journey, to watch him travel through that narrow gate, that few find, and difficult is the path, and few that go by it. He let us know that we needed to surrender to the renewing of our minds, not just one time renewed. And our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ taught about the Father pruning those branches that do not bear fruit, not just one time pruned. As we have come to the Lord in true salvation through the blood and the cross of our Jesus, we have to be good stewards of all that He suffered for us. It is a journey in surrendering, and being a living sacrifice.
And while we are here in our physical bodies, we have to be good stewards with the understanding, the light, the revelation of the knowledge of Him, or we will not receive anymore depth in Jesus. In fact in the parable of the talents, if we don’t then all that we did have will be taken away.
